I came in not knowing whether my pension calculation was correct. The review was done carefully and the written summary they gave me was something I could actually follow. I now understand my position for the first time in years. Worth every baht.

Son managing deceased father's pension, Surat Thani
After my father passed, I had no idea how to retrieve his pension records. The office kept asking for documents I didn't have. Santi Counsel handled all of it — the requests, the follow-up, the back-and-forth. It took about six weeks, which they warned me about upfront. No surprises.

My pension had been reduced after a review by the department. I disagreed with the decision but didn't know how to challenge it. Somchai looked at my records first and told me honestly that we had a reasonable basis to appeal. The outcome took months, but it was ultimately revised in my favour.

I didn't fully understand the pension system after 30 years of teaching. The review gave me a clear picture — written down so I could read it again later and share it with my daughter. The consultation itself was unhurried and I didn't feel rushed at any point.

My situation was not the most complex but I was confused about whether I had received all I was entitled to. They completed the review and it turned out my situation was in order, which I was glad to have confirmed in writing. Sometimes you just need to know where you stand.

The records collection service saved me weeks of difficulty. I had tried to obtain my employment history myself for months and kept hitting dead ends. They sorted it within a few weeks. Nattaya was helpful and kept me updated throughout without me having to call.

Case Studies
Three Cases, Each Different
The following are composites drawn from actual cases we have handled, with identifying details altered for privacy.
Case Study 01 · Pension Position Review
The Situation
A retired teacher approaching 65 had been receiving a pension for three years but was uncertain whether the amount was calculated correctly. She had received differing guidance from two different offices and wanted a clear, written explanation of her entitlement.
What We Did
We reviewed her employment records and pension calculations in full. The review identified a period of service that had been partially excluded from the original calculation. We produced a written summary explaining the basis for her entitlements and the discrepancy we found.
Outcome
She received a written record that clarified her full entitlement. She was able to take that summary to the pension office and request a revised calculation. The process from consultation to summary took eleven days.
"I had asked two offices and got two different answers. Having something in writing made all the difference when I went back."
Case Study 02 · Records Collection & Liaison
The Situation
A family in Surat Thani needed to collect employment and pension records following the death of their father. The relevant employer had since been reorganised into a different government department and the family did not know where to direct requests. Previous attempts had gone unanswered.
What We Did
We identified which successor body now held the relevant records and submitted formal requests on the family's behalf. Over five weeks, we followed up with three separate offices and compiled the documentation that had previously been scattered or inaccessible.
Outcome
The full set of records was obtained within six weeks. The family received a written summary of each document and its source, which they then used to submit the survivor's pension application. The application was accepted without further queries.
"We had no idea who to contact. They found the right people and handled everything. We just waited and they kept us informed."
Case Study 03 · Appeal & Review Representation
The Situation
A former local government employee had her pension reviewed and reduced by the department, citing what she believed was an inaccurate assessment of a period when she was on approved leave without pay. She had received a formal decision letter she did not understand.
What We Did
We first assessed the original decision and the basis on which the reduction had been applied. After reviewing her employment records and the relevant regulations, we concluded the period in question had been incorrectly classified. We prepared and filed a formal appeal on her behalf.
Outcome
The appeal was accepted and the pension restored to its original level after four months. The process involved two rounds of correspondence and one formal meeting. We attended the meeting on her behalf and provided written updates throughout.
"They told me at the start it would take time, and it did. But I never felt left in the dark. The outcome was what I had hoped for."
